Had a cake from Whiskers Cakery at a friends birthday, and I mentioned to my husband that it was the most incredible cake I’d ever had (raspberry pistachio). Recently for my birthday he surprised me with one, a chocolate cake, and it absolutely did not disappoint. My husband doesn’t even really like cake, and chocolate cake is his least favourite, and he’s raving about it. Hi there, Val and Puss here from Whiskers Cakery. Whiskers is a boutique cake bakery located in Rolleston, New Zealand. We bake a variety of cakes that are rich in natural flavor and are not overloaded with sugar.

Our cakes are like no other. Crafted from premium European-style recipes, each cake is a symphony of exquisite flavors and artistic presentation. Val’s artistic talent ensures that every cake not only tastes incredible but looks stunning, perfect for any occasion. Have you experienced the unique delight of our cakes yet?

Val is originally from Ukraine, but Puss is a local boy. He was born in a forest in Akaroa, where Val found him after he lost his mum. He has a distinctive Māori koru pattern on his fur and a cheeky personality. He is now our sales manager, our creative muse, and our adorable mascot.
